2.4 Technology selection &  positioning

Based on the resource analysis prepared in 2.2, the selection of suitable energy sources should take place in this step. With the help of the Technology Matrix / SUI Inventory, the available resources and the required forms of energy can be evaluated and thus suitable technologies can be declared. It is important to ensure that the defined technologies can be implemented with the building plan created in step 2.3 and that the efficiency is not impaired by the building planning. All important stakeholders should be involved in the selection of technologies. For the evaluation of the required electrical & thermal energies the two attached tools can be used.
